Governor Joet Garcia led mayors and health officers in the conduct of the Provincial Health Board meeting here on Friday. Primarily discussed was the implementation of PhilHealth Konsulta as Provincial Health Office (PHO) provided record of first patient encounters (FPEs) and consultations in all towns of the province.

The needed additional workers, medicines, laboratories in the province for more effective implementation of PhilHealth Konsulta was also tackled. PHO also updated the health board on the cases of tuberculosis, HIV, measles, and cholera in the province. It was also announced that Mariveles District Hospital Medical Mission will be conducted next year. The meeting was attended by Orion Mayor Tonypep Raymundo, Orani Mayor Bondjong Pascual, Abucay Mayor Robin Tagle, Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia, provincial consultant on health Dr. Bong Galicia, and representatives of PhilHealth, district hospitals, municipal health offices, rural health units, and barangay health workers in the province.
